In order to skim oil from an open-top plastic storage tank, our engineers customized our standard wall mounted skimming system, bolting it to a customized steel adapter plate that spans the top of the tank. Recovered oil drains into an aluminum sludge pan, then through 3-inch pipe to the customer's oil collection vessel.
